Loft Conversions Website for The London Loft Conversion Company

Loft Conversions Fulham, London

The London Loft Conversion Company is a loft conversion firm based in Fulham, building across London. Its three directors run every project, and the survey, design, planning, structural engineering, party wall and the build are all handled in-house.

Where The London Loft Conversion Company Started

The firm builds five conversion types, and each suits a different London house, from Victorian terraces with a back addition to 1930s semis and conservation-area streets where a mansard is often the route the council supports. Even the simplest Velux job starts around £38,000, and a homeowner can't tell which type their roof suits until someone has measured it. The client also wanted to be seen building across all of London from Fulham, never as a South and West London firm only.

What I Built

  • A page for each of the five conversion types (dormer, L-shaped dormer, mansard, hip-to-gable and Velux) plus loft boarding, each saying which London houses it suits and how planning usually works for it.
  • 16 area pages, eight in South London and eight in West London, each with local price ranges and which council a street falls under, such as the Lambeth and Wandsworth boundary through Clapham.
  • A London budget table on the homepage with each type's guide range, build time and whether it usually goes through as permitted development, from £38,000–£48,000 for a Velux to £72,000–£95,000 for a mansard, VAT included.
  • A five-step timeline from the free survey to handover, with 5% of the contract held back until the snagging is signed off.
  • A free home survey form that promises an itemised fixed-price quote within 7 days of the visit.

Why I Built It That Way

I set the URLs to match how people search, with /dormer-loft-conversions/ for each type and /loft-conversions-clapham/ for each area. Each area page carries the planning detail for its own council, because a dormer that goes through as permitted development in Ealing needs full planning permission in most of Kensington.

In the second feedback round on 27 July 2026 the client asked for prices to come off the service pages, so every job is priced after the survey. I kept the guide ranges in the homepage budget table and the cost FAQs, so a homeowner can plan before the visit. The design stays grey with the navy and gold logo as the only colour, at the client's request, because these are £60,000-plus decisions and the site has to look the part.
