Where Green Oak Buildings And Construction Started

The bigger framing companies cut a frame, deliver it and leave. Allister stays on the job from the ground works to the finished frame, and the site had to make that plain. His old site had 23 pages, 15 of them town and service pages for searches nobody makes, written in generic marketing copy.

What I Built

• A page for each oak building he makes (extensions, garages, garden rooms and porches) plus a ground works page, each written for Oxfordshire and Berkshire searches.
• A Berkshire page and an areas page naming the villages around Whitchurch Hill, from Pangbourne and Goring out to Didcot, Abingdon and Oxford.
• A projects section led by his own jobs, such as the Cowfields kitchen extension and a two-storey glazed oak entrance, photographed from the ground works to the finished building. Jobs he framed with a contract team sit under their own label.
• A five-step section on how a project runs, from consultation and design through ground works and frame raising to finishing.
• His Google reviews quoted in full on the homepage, next to a free quote button, his mobile number and WhatsApp.

Why I Built It That Way

When I pulled keyword data on 28 September 2026, every town combination I checked, such as "oak framed extensions didcot", had no measurable search volume. The demand sat in national and county searches: "oak framed garage" gets 1,600 searches a month across the UK (Google Ads data, September 2026). So I built one page per service aimed at the county searches and pointed all 20 old town URLs at the closest new page.

Allister told me he didn't want to look like a national company. Oak garage searches are full of kit sellers, so the copy leads with what a kit can't give you: a frame cut for one site, then raised and pegged by the man who made it. He asked for his own jobs to come first, and the projects section follows that order.
