Cleaning Website for Earth Friendly Cleaning

Where Earth Friendly Cleaning Started

Earth Friendly Cleaning was on a slow WordPress site and didn't show up in the Google map pack. Its area pages sat at long addresses like /end-of-tenancy-cleaning-clapham, and Chelsea alone had six near-identical pages chasing move-in, move-out, eco and "elite" cleaning searches.

What I Built

• A homepage built around the Fulham base, with fixed starting prices from £189 for a studio up to £299 for a three-bed and the room-by-room checklist.
• Area pages for 10 London neighbourhoods, from Balham and Brixton to Knightsbridge and Richmond, each with its own sub-areas and local FAQs.
• Standalone pages for the deposit-back guarantee, the eco products, how a clean works and all of its Google reviews.
• 19 blog posts, including cost guides for Ealing, Fulham, Islington and Kensington, and checklists for Battersea new-builds and Richmond houses.
• 301 redirects from every old WordPress address, so /end-of-tenancy-cleaning-clapham now lands on /clapham/ and the six Chelsea pages fold into the homepage.

Why I Built It That Way

I checked the London end of tenancy results in June 2026. They were split between firms with a page for every borough and 900 to 1,350 Google reviews, and national brands with 50,000 or more. Eco cleaning was the least defended lane and it is exactly what Earth Friendly Cleaning does, so it leads the homepage title and has its own page.

None of the four borough firms I looked at had a standalone page for a deposit-back guarantee, so I built one. In October 2026 I folded the Fulham page into the homepage, because Google was already treating the homepage as the Fulham page and the Google Business Profile links to it.
