Where The After Builders Cleaning Company Started

The After Builders Cleaning Company had no website and no presence on Google, so a developer or homeowner searching for an after builders clean had no way to find it. It started with a new domain, no site history and no links pointing at it, in a London cleaning market where rivals have been building pages for years.

What I Built

• A homepage with fixed starting prices (from £349 for a studio or one-bed up to £549 for a three-bed) and a room-by-room checklist covering both a builders clean and a sparkle clean.
• Area pages for 12 parts of London, from Chelsea and Kensington out to Croydon and Bromley, each written around its own housing stock and planning rules.
• A case studies page with write-ups of real jobs, including a four-floor handover in Chelsea, staged re-cleans of a five-floor townhouse in Holland Park and a 100-apartment new build handover.
• An accreditations page covering CSCS, DBS checks and insurance, with RAMS and method statements available on request.
• 24 blog posts, including cost guides for London, Chelsea and Fulham, and local guides such as loft conversion cleaning in Islington.

Why I Built It That Way

For the first area page, Kensington, I looked at what the top three ranking cleaners there all had, built that, then added what they didn't: the W8 and W14 postcodes, the period property types and FAQs written for Kensington. The site sells to developers as well as homeowners, so the real jobs and the accreditations each got their own page.

In October 2026 Google was ranking the Clapham page for a Fulham search, a sign it saw the area pages as near-copies of each other. I rewrote all twelve so each one covers the building work that actually happens there, such as Article 4 loft conversions in Islington or wraparound kitchen extensions on Clapham's Victorian terraces.
